Club membership pack '08?

Still a resounding silence about the supply of the above, ahead of Silverstone. Could whoever is designated to carry out this task please respond & put me (and I think a number of others) in the picture? My completed renewal application was despatched pretty promptly back in February(or was it January?) and I find the delay inexplicable. There ain't that many members & time has been found to cash the dosh! Twitchy? Maybe. But candidly, I don't take anything for granted after the Mallory fiasco...

Christine is responsible for issuing memberships. She has a three / four month old baby to deal with as well as a toodler

Why don't you volunteer to do it instead of whinging and complaining????

Incidentally, Trevor, you're the guy who warned us that document requirements were going to be rigorously applied. Hence my concern. Hardly cause for an intemperate outburst, I would have thought. And if there is to be a delay in issuing bumph, a simple notice to that effect would be helpful & a matter of moments. Like this...

And I also said what i am going to do if the docs haven't arrived before silverstone. Take proof that my cheque has been cashed! Simple really!

Driver: ' Uh no, but it's very simple you see. Look at this cheque book stub.'
CotC: ' Eh? What? Do you think I've got time etc?'
Driver: ' Better still, here's my bank statement that clearly shows...'
CofC: ' Move away from the desk please. Next.'

Having spoken to Christine recently, the cards are done, so don't worry about them - if they're not sent out in the post in the very near future (today was mentioned as possible), then they'll be brought to Silverstone and handed out there.

What's holding the membership pack up is a couple of other little things. If they're not ready in time, the cards will be sent out on their own, I'm sure.

Do we have to waste any time filling the log book out this year, so it gets looked at by absolutely no one?
