I seem to recall there was some discussion regarding the potential modification of the bob weight mounting to make it more reliable. Was this ever resolved?

ps I am glad Pete's breasts are close to his heart, they would look daft anywhere else!

I can't remember this stuart ,however we did allow the use of the belgian style chopper which mounts directly to the cam and does away with the bob weights altogether.

If there's a fix, what is it? Mine went pop at the weekend; ended up with the points cam welded to the end of the camshaft (thanks, Mark).

Derek Coghill

Thanks for that, Dick; commendably prompt!

I noticed the one next to it, but that one's more subtle.

Some more excellent pictures of that particular event are at : http://www.2cvtv.com/Events/2008/spa/ukers/index.htm - some great work there Dick!
