Could that be the car that was a build project during a 24hr race a few years back? I think the chassis and arms look familiar somehow.

No, that one had a red shell (and I believe it was built into a car but I can't remember which one). The blue with stripes rings vague and ancient bells but I'll have to dig out old photos for a look.

It became the black pistonheads car and then lien's car that was written off at oulton.

I've found a photo of the blue car I was thinking of; according to the programme, at Mondello in 1998 it was Moulin Rouge Racing/Des Murray (Irish), race no. 32. Blue top half, white from the top of the bootlid down to the back of the front wings, 2nd bonnet flute in on each side white.

does any1 think that car on ebay is worth going for? i'm trying to find a car to run for 2010 season, but i cant afford massives to start up due to being a uni student lol

is there a lot of work needed to get it back to being race ready?
