Are the Argentinian pistons approved or is the lack of compression ratio marks a problem?
They are quite cheap right now ;)

Paul Robertson

They are allowed ,the scrutineer holds one as a pattern

Cheers, Paul,
It was the 'note for clarity' in the regs that confused us, thanks, rung Roy already!

John-Paul Wilkinson

I thought the regs clearly stated that we couldn't use the Argentinian ones.

It says that "any club approved piston must have its original compression ratio marks clearly visible on the crown",the argentinian pistons are approved by the club and do not have to have a compression ratio mark as they didn't have one originally.
