Tyre Buffing.

We used to use a company in Stony Stratford call "Holmes Engineering" for out tyre buffing.  I understand that they have moved into MK somewhere and changed their name. Anyone know where they are and what they're called please?

We are going to get some of our tyres done,  If anyone else wants theirs done too, please let us know so that we may be able to negotiate some kind of bulk discount if we all get them there at about the same time.

For what it's worth:

I had a chat with Alan Meaker, Tech and Motorsport Manager at Toyo Tires a while ago. He said that in his (very wide) experience, there was nothing to chose between buffing and shaving their tyres.

I know a man who jacks up one front wheel, pops the car into second gear, puts a brick on the loud pedal and uses an electric planer to shave off non-essential rubber!
