Newbie about roll cages

Afternoon all, Just starting to sort out our new 2cv purchase for next years racing. All very exciting! But could do with some help. and if you would bear with me first question is about the roll cage. The car has been raced before, has a sticker on for the 1999 24hr. It has an original Aley Bars roll cage. Just been to safety devices who bought them out, and they confirmed it is original and printed off a certificate (1989).
My question they and I have is is this old cage still OK and passing scrutineering and fia regs?
Obviously would eb rather nice if it was! then just need to add side bars a roof and padding to it.

It should be fine,there are original cages from 1989 still being used.

Brilliant many thanks.
Ill get the right stickers etc. from safety devices to show its one of theirs as well and sounds like we should be fine with side bars fitted, roof and padding added.
