having spent a happy hour reading the blue book i`m still not sure if this is allowed, sure i saw some cars with it last season, advise welcomed.

One is definitely allowed; I'm not sure that both are on the same point. I have one there and one on the crossmember over the tank (passed scrutineering).

2 things disturb me about it. but it's a bit difficult to establish properly from that photo.
1 see the holes in the back of the seat. the angle that the belts are from there is important. they ideally need to be no greater than 10 degrees from the horizontal.
2. it looks to me like you have simply wrapped the belt around the cage and then fed it back through the adjuster? Like you i can't find anything that says this is not allowed. but i would be surprised if it is.

I have to say I am never a fan of seat belts being attached to a roll cage, my rear ones are down on the tank saddle

It was my understanding that the belts weren't both to be attached to the same item, whether it be the crossmember or the cage. I think there was some discussion of this when we were forbidden from attaching them to the rear inner wing.

See below from the Blue Book section K:

1.3.9. Harness Bars. Minimum dimensions 38mm x
2.5mm or 40mm x 2.0mm. Cold Drawn Seamless
Carbon Steel with minimum tensile strength of
350N/mm2. Harness straps may be attached by looping
around the tube or by threaded fixings using inserts as
drawing No. 44 welded into the tubes(s).

Refer to drawing 39 for the angle of the dangle, so to speak....
