Lucozade 2cv

Hi Everyone, I'm new here but wanted to ask if anyone knows details about a car I am aware of. It has seen better days and prior to signing up here I've posted the pic on another forum but this one seems like it might be more suitable. I've also enquired with Lucozade and they responded to say they couldn't help identify it.

still looks o hava a fabric roof and rear bumper so probably not a racer. does the car have a roll cage? is it for sale?

Hi Shorty, Thanks for the reply.

I've not been able to get very close to it as it's parked up in farmers field and has been for a long time. It has a registration number too so I assume that would maybe mean its not been used for racing? Certainly an interesting machine though. I think it would make a good project. I don't know if it's for sale, the one time I went to track down the owner there was nobody about.

I drove the car to its current location a few years ago. It was sound underneath and engine/gearbox was good. I planned to restore the car but other jobs kept having priority.

It needs a lot of work and I mean a lot but as you guys know nothing is impossible. Will be well worth the effort.

Surprised to hear Lucozade don't know about the car as I was told by previous owner it was used in their tv adverts. This maybe a rumour.

Anyway hope this helps and get in touch if you would like anymore info.
