Race prepared 2cvs display at 2cvGB Registers Weekend.

Hi everyone.

2cvGB is holding it's annual Registers Weekend July 4/5/6 in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. We'd love to invite the racing club along to promote the 24 hour at Anglesey. If anyone would like to come and bring a car on a trailer we'll sort out entrance for you.

It's a top weekend consisting mainly of beer and 2cvs. It's the 'shine and show' event of 2cvGB, not really my thing, but aside from many a shiny 2cv there's beer (did I mention that) plus high spirits and good times.

Drop me an email if you'd be interested in bringing a racer along, it would be great to have a few on show.

2cvGB Registers Weekend
Camping from midday Friday 4th July to Sunday 6th July.
Main day returning to the Sunday with vehicle line ups for all ten registers and prizes for the best vehicle in each class will be awarded. Trade Stands, Flea Market, Technical demonstrations and Tappet Racing.
Camping available for the weekend.
Venue: Burleigh Hill Farm, Somersham Road (B1040), St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, PE27 3LY.

hi sam, I thought I would get in first as I am one of the closest to your event and we have exhibited there before.
we are TEAM GADGET RACING.
you may have heard of us,but if you haven't, you will!
we are at the forefront of the CLASSIC 2CV  RACING CLUB. by that I mean that we always attend, we always have fun,we always fight for the lead and we always upset someone. oh, and we always drink beer.
you do sound like our sort of bloke. (might be something to do with your regular reference to beer!)

we have been meaning to come back over to the registers meeting but it has always clashed with racing.this year it doesn't.we have been there once with cars to parade.

Wayne keep off Sam he's part of Team Lumaca I2F for the 24hr, although he might want to move to a top running team, come to think of it I might too its seems to have worked for Lien!;D little far for us to travel too otherwise I would have offered too
