Hi All
I was planning on being with you at Oulton for the last race and championship decider.
Unfortunately, life has taken a bit of a turn here at Sparrow HQ.
Some of you may have seen from social media, that my eldest son, Anthony died on the 16th of September.
He had been suffering with mental health issues for years which led him eventually, to alcahol.
I know that a lot of my friends on here, at some point, will have known people or suffered from metal health issues themselves. Its now such a huge problem and there is just not enough help.
Friday the 10th of October, is world mental health day. Its also the day of Ant's funeral.
I am struggling with the fact that he has gone and looking for any positives that there might be in this horrible situation.
To help us feel that there can be positives, we have set up tribute page for him and we are trying to raise money for MIND, the mental health charity.
If you feel that you can, I would really appricate a small donation to something that I realise more each day, is so very important to virtually everyone.
If you want to help me, take a look at Ant's page and you can donate on there. Any amount will do good.

In between, I wish everyone the best at the weekend. Have some good, fair races.
See you at the Dinner Dance next month.
Thanks
Pete

Dear Pete,

I'm so sorry. Whilst words matter, I'm conscious that there is little that I can say either. I hope tomorrow goes as well as these things ever can. I shall keep you all in my thoughts.
