Balaclavas

Be aware that the NCR now have mandated the use of Balaclavas for racing.  In all race conditions and helmet types. 

Whilst there is an anomaly where chapter 9 (PPE) still states "Strongly" recommend...... chapter 12 includes it as mandatory.

There is no anomaly. Balaclavas are mandatory in Race events.

Also, Meta glasses are absolutely prohibited by Ch.7, App.9 Art.1.8 which states:

Fitting of cameras to or within helmets is only permitted in accordance with Ch.9 whereby only the helmet
manufacturer's integral camera can be used and the helmet with camera installed is approved under an
accepted standard. Only glasses for the sole purpose of correcting eyesight in accordance with Chapter 6
Appendix 2 Article 6.7 (and/or sun protection) are permitted
