2027 season announcement

Morning all.

Yesterday I posted this announcement on the 24hr page but have since thought it might have been better here. So here it is again!


Dear members

The board has been working since this year's 24hr with BRSCC to plan ahead for the 2027 season. We are now in the position to share with you our planned timetable much earlier than usual, although strictly still provisional as nothing is officially signed.

They have taken into account the drivers survey that George organised which means we have got many, but not all, of your top choices. We also have some exciting new challenges. So here it is

10th - 11th April -  Brands Hatch

3rd May - Castle Combe

19th - 20th June - Donnington (National)

10th - 11th July - Croft

7th -8th August 24hr Snetterton

Initially, we were allocated by MSV, the same August weekend we had this year for our 24hr race. We asked BRSCC to negotiate for us to move the 24hr event away from this same  weekend to avoid another clash with the mini festival which would enable us to boost numbers on the grid making the event more financially viable.

The overriding view among this year's 2CV entry was that they would welcome the minis back and they are keen to join us once again.

Look out for further information shortly about a 24hr race early bird.

Hope this gives a clear indication of the plans for next year
