Somebody once told me that a mad Frenchman once designed a car in which you could drive across a field with a basket of eggs whilst wearing a top hat.

As I neither have access to a vast acreage of rutted grass nor have a particular liking to food from from chickens bottoms I am rather surprised to discover I now have a red and blue racing poultry mover in my garage.

This has lead to confusion as I don't own a tall hat in which you can keep bunnies.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and the rest of the posse. I'm Nick and together with Anthony, Jason and Paul we are hoping to bring the drinking profile of the 2CV championship to new levels in 2006. Hopefully we will be at most meets in various guises and look forward to watching y'all race away from us as we try and work out where the gear lever is supposed to point in order to achieve forward motion.

Please bare with us whilst we ask really stoopid questions, like why do we have three sets of wheels with different sized tyres?

Ta muchly.

Welcome to a fantastic crowd of people, hope you have lots of fun!

If you are looking for interesting pics of engine dismantling I can highly recommend joining the 2cvGB web forum; as there are some lovely examples of how race engines look before, during and after rebuilds!

Best wishes
