I've heard turkey has taken a bit of a dive. i've never really liked dark meat.

Taking a dive dahn sarf it may be, but it's cheap as chips (or chicken, or something....) up here......folks are gobbling it up.

This conversation is foul...

I think that the Scotsman is suggesting that there are a lot of large birds who gobble across the border.

Blimey

I'm confused as to what we are trying to decide? Do members prefer Chicken (cheep)? Turkey (foul)? Vegetables (sunnyside)? Both (indecisive)? etc etc... Is this for a BBQ?

Can we add in bird size? I find that smaller birds ar more succulent.

"Just say no to big birds!"

Does anyone know if we have a BBQ this year?

BTW

This may come as a suprise to you, but Simon has the largest BBQ in the world (its true, Norris McWhorter told me). We used it a couple of years ago at the 24. You'll need a 7.5tonne truck to get it to Snett, but its well worth it.

I seem to remember that it cooks large birds and big burgers (not to mention a weighty sausage) particularly well...

On a recent shopping trip I happened to walk past a "size up" store, I asked the bread knife what it sold and accelerated my walking pace past the store. In the words of a famous pop singer, I'd rather have two eights than a sixteen!
