I have access to HID headlight kits again this year for the 24hr race.
the advantages for HID is much brighter lights and reduced power consumpion, they take 35w but are as bright as 150w.
we used these on the GMR car last year and put an H3 bulb kit into a pair of old Rally Giants and this worked really well.
kits are available in H1, H3 and H4.
main 2cv headlights can be converted using H4 lenses from ECAS
H1 and H3 kits are £165 + vat and H4 (dip & main beam) are £225 + vat
They may be cheaper if i can get a bulk order together.

I can get a discount from www.visionbulbs.com for HIDs. You can have this too!!

Just go to www.visionbulbs.com choose the set you want, and then enter the discount code of: MKIVSUPRA you will get a set incl delivery for £95 (single beam any fitment) or £120 (hi/lo beam any fitment)

I have these in the Supra and they're BRIGHT!!! 4300K have the highest light output and are pure white. Higher colour temperatures have less light output the higher you go up the K rating.

Comes with complete kit to wire up to std headlamp wiring & battery via its own fused relay (required to get full battery voltage to the HID units).

Normal disclaimer... I have nothing to do with this company and will not benefit in any way. Just a personal recommendation.

And import VAT MAY apply... if you get caught (I didn't).
