Richard won his first race fair and square this weekend at Stowe. I would think that he has not taken his winners garland off and he will still be wearing at his school now. Being single now allows him to concentrate properly and get the job done. Matt did a brilliant drive to get second.
The Stowe meeting was well organised and run.It was also very good value for money.
we may be offered more races at Stowe during the year if we are interested.

Well done team hollis! And everyone else for good clean close racing, despite the rubbishy weather. It was a fab day & lots of fun, good little circuit. The start procedure was interesting though! :o
Paddock Hill Bend is not flat in top!

David Sullivan

Anyone gonna give us some information as to the final classification & the the start proceedure for those that didn't make it to silverstone?
The stowe circuit is superb, i did my ards test on it so it has special memories for me!

David.
Dick and Yvette weren't present at this event so there won't be many pictures i don't think other than the ones of a very happy bunch of Hollis's who had the forsight to bring a camera and did a few snaps at the end (think of richard winning the lottery and you'll get the idea)
I know Richard has sent out the report for via e-mail so expect a thrilling, heart stoping and breath taking report as seen by the winning driver  :D
all joking apart he did a top job (of mowing the grass.)
Findlay did turn up and got into the top 9, well done that man. :?

Hi everyone,

Well what can i say... What a brill day.. my mate john still as a smile like a cheshire cat!!!

BIG BIG BIG thanks to everyone who came and helped us and let use tools etc etc.

Thanks to everyone whos helped out with advice before this event..
Im not gonna mention names but they will be rewarded at Snett with alcoholic beverages....

The racing was even better than what we imagined, everyone is really friendly and willing to help.

Anyway a really great day out and really good value for money.
We know what we have to do to Alice, and the tweeks we did made a big difference at the end. The only damage to the car was when Trevor's awning blew off and over and landed on us, denting our shiny new paint work and landing on top of our mechanics!!!!

That awnings gonna take a fair bit of super-gluing Trevor!!!

A good mate of mine Paul Bunch came a took o load of Pics for us for some of people who have donated... Paul 1st class at the old camera stuff and had a lot of stuff printed, i will ask him if he took any shots of the other cars etc, during the race.

Anyway off to the garage!

See you all at Snett.

Regards and thanks to all again for your help

yes great racing, in probably what was the greatest race of the year (sightly bias). I've already written the stowe report and now have finally finish the brands one as well. Both will be emailed to dick asap. My mum Susan took on the lead role of club photographer on sat, so that will be lots of pictures of me and Matt then! Seriously there are some others on the film and if you have any email them either directly to Dick Roberts or me and i'll make sure they get on the website and into snail's pace which should go to press this week to be with you before the 24hrs. Thanks to the Classic Touring Car Club for the organisation and for bothering to have a award ceremony at all!

Cheers Richard, I'm off to drive home across the fields.
