Title: AGM at Mallory
Post by: Trevor Williams on September 03, 2007, 12:02:09
Having just received the Notice of the AGM this Saturday (1st Septemeber), together with Aubrey's letter, I am a little bit concerned that people will believe that the suggestions contained in it are the only proposals received or submitted.

Can I also suggest that EVERYONE who is going to the AGM reads the Club Rules before attending. They are available on the website from a link on the front page

Cheers

I read on the attached sheet from Christine that all proposals had to be in writing by 5pm on the day of the AGM, i think that was the invite for all other proposals.

I think you mean 5.00pm on 7th September for proposals, it would be a bit late to consider anything if the deadline was two hours before the meeting is scheduled to start

Surely 14 days before the 22nd is the 8th not the 7th.22 - 14 = 8

That qualifies for the accountant's response of "it depends". I would say so, but others would argue otherwise!

In general, I'd go for the 8th. Unless it's 14 clear days (unlikely in this weather, I know) in which case it'd be the 7th.

If you have proposals, get them in by the 7th and all will be well!
