Title: Lights at Pembrey

We're the last race of the day and experience of the track suggests it might be wet, and gloomy towards the end. If we all fit working lights, that might deflect any temptation by the CoC to call a halt early.

I need to give my apologies as I won't be coming. Not going to have a car there and not been asked to help out running a car. It's too far to come to just watch the race.
This meaning I wont be attending the AGM.

I hope it's a bit warmer down there than it is here; don't fancy frost and camping much!

So you'll be putting on another stone for next year to give everyone else a chance? :D

Got home at about 11.30 - a mere 10 hours rather than 12! Truck ruts on the motorway as well as the racetrack. Lots of cable ties and faffing about to get the car into the driveway (had to reverse it). Going to find MST's website to see if there's any half-way reports that I can be happy with!

Need to sort the nut behind the wheel......

Went onto the grass, caught a rut left by a truck which broke the steering. Was doing ok up till then!

Forgot to say; thank you all for making my 10th year of racing so much fun.

Car 13 (winner) made up about 12 seconds in the pits over car 59 and beat it by 18.5 seconds - so not enough to lose the lead to car 59 if they worked on pit stops.  Slowest pit lap for car 13 was 2:14.69 but quickest of all pit laps was their middle stop of 1:50.90.  Slowest for 59 was 2:08.28 but could do no better than 1:57.52.

Myatt is just too quick - his slowest lap was 1:25.7 with most people lapping at that pace or slower (as in my case....)!  Observing from the pits saw one S. Panas repeatedly inspecting the grass looking - presumably - for the faster line.  One A. Pirt had a big wobble there as well but lost little time.

Most people seemed to have a good time.  It would be a great circuit for the 24 hour although I can imagine the hairpin(s) in the wet causing multiple grief.

No wonder it didn't want to steer!
