We are planning to build our own Belgium arms. We are now trying to find out what the best angles are for the caster and the camber. Can anyone please advise us on the right/ideal degrees for caster and camber of the front wheels (when the car is in the lowest allowed position)?
Thanks in advance

Buy a set of turned and cambered arms from paul robertson then send them to me for the belguim arm
conversion, both of which are proven!
Tanks for the advise,
But as you all know being from Holland we spend a lot more on items such as licences etc. This is why we need to save some money and do some thing ours selves.
At least try before we spend more money on things made by others. We can order everything from shops, but we simple cannot afford this.
Any one who knows the ideal angles for camber and caster, please let us know, so I can give these numbers to our welder.
Kind regards,

Roderik, if you mark the arm before you cut the kingpin holder out you can turn the holder forward by measuring 9 mm and then tack it into place . The camber wants to be 2.5 degrees or close to that. You must cut the holder out by grinding through the original weld so that you can clean up the stub of the holder that goes inside the arm .I normally put a steel rod in the eye of the holder to act as a heat sink during welding to stop the eye expanding too much.
Hope this is of use .
Paul
Dear Paul,
Very gratefull for the info. Now we can get started on this part. Our welder is expecting a baby and does not have a lot of time left ;-)
Going to call him now so he get get underway.
Probably I will post some more questions here and there. We just started building.
Thanks again for the help.
