Title: 'Inherited' entry for Silverstone
Post by: Frank Barnard on February 23, 2009, 09:37:40
I'm buying Nick Roads' entry for Silverstone, driving one of the Hollis Motorsport cars. Nick is about to pay the up-front entry fee for the season as he'll be doing all the other counters. Can someone advise if he should, at this stage, mention that FB will be driving at Silverstone or is it okay to leave this until the submission of an entry form for this particular meeting? I only ask because the BARC appears to be acting a touch pedantic at present...

Hi Frank, how does it work with the whole paying up front for the season (about to send the cheque off) do you still have to enter each round or is it a 'given' that you intend to race and what happens if the meeting is over subscribed?

Simon
If you are one of the 25 pre-paid entries, you are in all the races except the 24 hour. You will probably (more than likely) still have to send the BARC entry form for each race in to BARC as it is your signature that you will abide by the rules etc.
