Thanks for this & to all those who checked I was still stuck together after the Sunday shunt. Actually Helen I joined the 'roly-poly' club in 1971, in almost identical circumstances at a Henley autocross; rolled 3.5 times on that occasion & got extra points for effort. In '73 I did it again in a Mini, my fault that time, dug in a front wheel trying too hard & went end over end. In '88 I was up-ended by a backmarker leading a charity banger race at Wimbledon, landed on the roof & crawled out of the rear window soaked in fuel from the split petrol can bolted to the floor. So Silverstone was a comparatively gentle experience, leaving only a stiff neck and sore ankle. Some of you may have noticed the ill-fated Hollis car bore a decal promoting my latest paperback with the slogan 'Fast & furious, like my thriller', to generate a bit of publicity via my publisher & also (indirectly) for the Club. As it turned out I felt that on Sunday particularly I was reasonably fast but my wife was absolutely b***** furious...
