Title: One-piece front ends
Post by: Derek Coghill on July 07, 2010, 00:31:07
I'm contemplating assembling one of these, but can't find a regulation that allows you to brace the back part in order to stop the rear ends of the wings flopping around independently. What am I missing?

the back end is not connected, it is all floppy.
You are allowed to put a support bar across the front end of the vertical stays, but this must not exceed 15mm dia and 1mm wall thickness.
Check rules for detail.

Yes, I found the bit about the front bar, it's the back I wasn't sure about. Thanks for your answers.

Not even floppy yet, I'm still semi-detached.

Don't need a Rockhopper, quite happy with my Lava Dome thank you very much...
