Title: 24hr feature in 'Motor Sport' magazine, November edition
Post by: Martin Harrold on September 29, 2010, 21:05:50
Some may know that motoring journalist Ed Foster of 'Motor Sport' magazine did the 24hr in our team this year. He was surprsingly quick and so far as we know, did not spin or bump it (he did not triple roll it either - sorry, Steve!).

He's written a feature article about the race from his viewpoint (which I've not yet read) and that is in the November edition, on the better newstands now or very soon.

I was chatting to the magazine publisher at Goodwood and we are arranging a special subscription rate for club members. Sadly that will happen too late for the November edition.

We heard today that 'Octane' magazine is also working on a 2CV feature for a forthcoming edition.

Our racing does seem to be popular just now. I'll make sure that the new lady boss of Citroen UK gets to see a copy of that 'Motor Sport'. Supporting our event must be much cheaper than paying Kimi Raikkonen to keep on crashing their rally cars.

I have just read it and it is a good article, well done Martin for your fantastic PR coup!
Let's hope it generates plenty of interest from potential new competitors.
