All the preparations are in hand for
Radio Fine Print at the
2011 Professional Motorsport World Expo 2CV 24Hr Race in association with Dodo Juice Hand Made Car Care at Snetterton. The race is the final round of the 2011 2CVParts.com Championship.
The commentary team will be:
Alan Hyde Who also does the BTCC rounds and much more. Back after a break for a clashing engagement last year. www.alanhyde.net
Charlie Butler-Henderson Racer and commentator, new to the 24hr. www.butlerhenderson.co.uk
Lewis Beales East Anglian journo and lecturer in motor engineering. Been with the team since the first 24hr race at Snet.
Jon Waldock Freelance motorsport journalist and photographer, this will be his 3rd year with the 24hr commentary team.
The radio / webcast is only made possible by the work of several other people working quietly in the background, by the support of the team at MSV Snetterton and by the sponsors.
Pre-tuned ear radios will be available at the circuit, £6 each. But, do also make sure you bring an FM radio. The live commentary, hopefully with video, will be webcast at: www.2cvracing.co.uk from about 4.30 on the Saturday.
Club member Chris Yates is working hard on further improving the technical aspects of the video coverage, both pit-lane and hopefully in-car. More on the in-car video soon. The production desk will be in the Stewards Room in race control.
That room will also be the 2CV Club Hub providing a contact point for everyone involved in the race. Volunteers are needed to help man it on Saturday afternoon. Contact Nick Roads, [email protected] if you'd like to help. Be at the heart of the action.
