Title: flywheel version
Post by: Scuderia cavallino on July 19, 2012, 21:07:17
I bought a lightened 2cv flywheel a while ago on ebay. time comes to fit it and realise its 6 bolt rather than the 5 all 3 of my engines have. Were there a lot of 6 bolt versions? and anyone want a nice light flywheel for one?

Was it from the Doncaster area?
If so, I condemned it and told the fellow who'd had it machined that it was only fit for scrap.
Check how much metal has been removed from the engine face, especially close to the mounting boss.
There's not much thickness left there...  >:(
