Title: In-Car cameras
Post by: Martin Harrold on July 21, 2013, 12:01:14
There will be two in-car cameras for the 24hr. These will be supported by trackside and pit-lane cameras.

These should transmit to the control suite continuously and the 'footage' will all be recorded. They draw very minimal power and weigh very little. You would be allowed your team name in shot.

The ouput will enhance the live commentary which will be streamed at www.2cvracing.co.uk

If you'd like one in your car, please send me an email soonest, [email protected]

The first two to contact me will have the in-car cameras:

Simon Crook

James Bromley  Iceni Racing  60

It would be helpful if you would both bring a small sticker or cut lettering, white out of black, with your car number and team name. We will then position those in shot on the dash.

The cameras will be fitted by Rupert Potts.

Thanks for your help on this. Your cars will be world famous!

Martin

Is it possible to have this footage recorded. I always think the club is missing a trick here from a marketing point of view.

Shorty:

Yes, we will try to set things up so all the in-car is recorded.

The quality can be a bit mixed - we cannot afford the broadcast standard equipment used by the team who produce the Mallory Park races for Motors TV.

Do you have any connections which might help us?
