Title: Weber Carb Water/Vapor Drainage
Post by: Scooterman on March 07, 2014, 08:06:52
Does anyone run a canister or drain tube to relieve the carb of unwanted moisture? If so how do you do it? I'm aiming to be proactive, rather than reactive to a potential issue. Having done a bit of research on this carb, it appears to be a common problem.

We use a water trap from a central heating oil tank, with the fittings they work out about £10. As long as they are drained after each meeting we have no problems.

note that this is fitted in line, before the fuel pump in the fuel line. not on a drain from the carb
