Post by: Simon Crook on May 13, 2014, 06:13:51
Not sure who is looking after the club stickers these days! - whoever is looking after them is it possible I could pick up at Pembrey 4 x toyo, 4 x 2cv Parts.Com - also is there a list of what we should have on the race car?

Thanks

Simon

We were supposed to be given a handout that shows decals and their location on the car however we haven't had this and I have asked for it. ::)

The only sticker you actually have to have according to the regs is the BARC shield on both sides behind the front wheeel. You don't even have to have the latest design so we still have the old style colourful one.

So all other stickers are optional...... until we have an official directive on what has to go where.

Simon, Rod:

It's been said here before, more than once. Right now, you only have to carry two sorts of commercial stickers:

- The 2CVParts.com sticker across the top of the bonnet, above the grille. I normally have some of those at each round.

- The BARC sticker, preferably new style, on either side, under the A panels.

At the 24hr, you have to have reflective background panels for the numbers on the two side doors. I'm not sure about current availability of those. I will check.

'Professional MotorSports Worl Expo' is the sole title sponsor for the 24hr, so you MAY be required to carry their stickers on the door number backgrounds.

I've only been supplied with the small BARC new style sticker. It goes in the windscreen. If we are required to carry a bigger one on the outside of the car, surely they (BARC) would have sent it? I'm sure nobody is petty enough to protest a car for incorrect logos, but anything is possible........

No-one has yet been punished in any way for not carrying any particular sticker. BARC normally have the new style shields at signing-on. 2CVParts.com stickers are normally available from me at the circuits, but I won't be at Cadwell.
