Title: Arms
Post by: Scooterman on August 07, 2014, 21:38:52
Dodgy left rear arm on 81 and possibly right one too. Will I have to buy replacement ones or can they be straightened and braced? I think they've been dodgy for a while, only became noticeable as the car has got quicker and therefore going in to corners quicker. Too many sideways moments on 4th gear right handers. Springs and shocks have been sorted, but the car is ruining bearings very quickly on the left rear- with 3 different drums.

Obviously you're all in 24hr prep mode, but any advice (that is anatomically possible) would be most welcome.

You should be able to retrack and then brace what is on Adam. Unless they are very rusty.

Thanks Paul. Assuming this type of mod is legal?
