Title: Tuff Jugs - Filler Necks
Post by: Nick Roads on August 25, 2014, 08:34:53
A couple of teams have found problems with the Tuff Jugs not sealing correctly in last year when being pulled out of tank if fuel is still in the Tuff Jug.

This appears to be a product issue and that the caps need to be replaced after a few years.

Plan, I believe, is for Tuff Jugs to be taken to scrutineering with some fuel in and tested.

The club have bought 25 filler necks and will sell them at cost to teams - £ 25 each from Aubrey in Garage 14.

The only part to wear in the neck on a tuff jug is the 'o' ring many be the cheaper option would have been to source the rings I will speak to  simon Clark see what he can do!
