Bas:

Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated. It was a very tense final few hours racing between our two teams. We were slowed a bit by having to run full tread tyres (very kindly loaned by Crisis Too) in the final stints, but, yes, your broken fan switched our 5am prediction of losing by a lap to winning by a lap.

It's taken us 15 years to win the 24hr, learning a bit more every year. On behalf of all past and current members of the team, I thank everyone in the Club and on the track and all those who follow our unique racing for your support, advice (mostly good!) and fellowship during those years.

With the PMWE 24 Hour win and the 2CVParts.com Championship win for Pete, it's been a great year for the team. Unlikely ever to be repeated. But we'll probably give it a try in 2015.

Best wishes to all, Martin

Grey is good, better than bald anyway! I have only just recovered from doing two night stints not to mention the Thursday night in a tent.....  Great thing about doing night driving is that nobody sees the nobbie off circuit mistakes. It was also my first experience of being mounted from behind going down the corkscrew..... Curse you whoever it was that spun in from of me (see driver excuse no. 82).

Great drive Pete and all your crew. To come second to 2cv royalty seems fair enough but watch out next year...
