Daily Telegraph - next Saturday, Jan 10

The deputy editor of Telegraph Cars, Paul Hudson, is writing a piece about 2CV racing for the Cars section next Saturday.

I've no idea how long it will be or what angle he will take, but it should have some pics.

I shall be at Autosport show on Thursday afternoon, if anyone is visiting then and wants to meet up.

Happy New Year, Martin H

The piece by Paul Hudson is at the bottom of page M12 of today's Daily Telegraph. Pretty good, and the pic has the Hollis car leading. Some of the wording looks somewhat familiar but Paul has edited it very well. His last two paras are especially good.

Autosport show was interesting for a walk-around, but nothing special caught my eye. I had some interesting chats, including with James Winstanley of PPC magazine who might be in our second seat at Croft or Cadwell.

Lovely comments by 'apolitical'.  ::)

Reminds me of a spectator at Oulton a few years ago. I wasn't competing in that race but watching as a spectator for once. The 2CVs were the last race, it was cold and getting dark, and the bloke next to me said there wasn't much point hanging around, it would be the most boring race of the day. When it finished in a 4 way dead heat on the line (all 4 separated by 0.2 seconds) he didn't look quite so smug  ;D
