Yep, you've beaten me to it!
So all, please could you let me know the cars (car numbers) you wish to form part of your team (include a team name if you want or will just assume what it should be) before the first race, by replying to this thread or emailing
[email protected]Nice big trophy on offer at the end of the year for the winners - Crisis Racing/Mobility Scooters Plus beat allcomers last year to win by a narrow margin.
To clarify, this is how it works:
Teams consist of up to 4
CARS - the drivers that race the cars nominated will automatically be part of the team.
All races count towards the team championship.
The top 10 teams at any meeting will score as follows: 20, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1
The teams will be ranked by how quickly any 2 of its cars cross the finish line. So for instance, if Team X's cars finish 1st and 2nd in a race, they will be the first team home and score 20 points. If however they finish 1st and 10th, but Team Y's cars finish 3rd and 4th, then Team Y will be the first team home and score 20 points. So basically it's all about getting at least 2 of your cars across the line in as high a position as possible. If only 1 of your cars finishes, the team could still score points, but it would be behind all the teams that got 2 cars home, even if the car won the race.
For the 24hr race, teams only need to get 1 car home, not 2 (this is to allow for the fact that many teams only run one of their cars at this race).
I haben't checked with Glenn but for now assume the same team as last year for us please.
Sorry it's late I still have not asked the others but I think we will do same as last year
