On Friday 20th Feb. an email circulated via the member's list talked of Gary Adnitt's acheivements - undoubtedly well done to Gary and his engine builders!
Pretenders to his crown - well that's a little inverse, the crown has already been established and of course Gary is still a pretender himself - I am sure he will agree!
Think back to more than one driver who has already won closely fought championships twice.
Pete Sparrow for instance who has persistently proven his quality as a driver and an ambassador for the sport by jumping into apparently lower powered 2cvs and 'whipping ass' - Pete has certainly put something back!
Will Gary be defending his championship in 2004?
