I should probably attempt to explain how this works:
Drivers aged 60 or over by the date of the first race are automatically entered into the Zimmer Cup competition (anyone can opt out if they choose).
Points are awarded in the same way as the championship (i.e. 100 for 1st, 90 for 2nd, 80 for 3rd, 75 for 4th and so on), excluding all the other drivers in the race. So for instance in the first race at Cadwell Mick was the first "Zimmer" home by finishing 8th overall, followed by Nigel in 14th, Aubrey in 15th, so they got 100, 90 and 80 respectively, and so on. Also 5 points for fastest qualifying time (in effect pole position) and 3 for fastest lap.
The only difference to the usual championship scoring is there is no 'shared drive' scoring, as I do not feel it is fair that someone under the age of 60 should contribute to the points scoring (so that is why Aubrey only scored for race 1, as Martin Riman drove in race 2). When it comes to the enduro and the 24hr, although that is a shared drive, the "Zimmer" driver is still contributing to score points accordingly.
Simple :-\ My head hurts......
