Ok, so here we are again. I have my tickets and only get 4. Doesn't even cover it!!
does each "driver" get 4 tickets. So a two driver car gets 8? can we not negotiate that we get 4 tickets per race!!
If we were doing 1 race per weekend and 8 / 9 weekends per year, we would (i assume) still get 4 tickets! therdfore at present single drivers are losing out on 50% of the ticket qty.
This is a real disadvantage to anyone whom wants to bring family with them and get their support crew in to the venue too.
I am not asking for special treatment, but parity in the ticketing.
One car may get 8 tickets, because its two drivers, and single drivers only get 4. Not good for those of us bringing an extra car to the grid by not sharing.
Can this be addressed with the BARC?
SO, as Silverstone wants £30 per ticket (with no concessions) then anyone got a couple of spares for my Old folks!
Thank you all in advance. See you all friday night. ( After 7 wayne.)
Bully
Sent you a PM, Bully.
Bully,
it is the ENTRY that gets the tickets. a two driver team is a two entry team.......
Another one of the foibles of the Club's preferred race format....
Just put down another driver as an entry then.4 more tickets.
It does show that we are dealing with a bunch of self centred pricks
Calling the membership that votes for the particular race make-up a "bunch of self-centred pricks" isn't very nice Wayne.......
I've paid the same Entry fee as a two driver team so why should I be short changed by £120. (Cost of 4 tickets for Silverstone).
I agree with Bully. Two race entries is two race entries no matter who drives in them.
As a PS, the cost of licences, BARC memberships and so on seems to have escalated somewhat.
D.
Maybe part of next seasons negotiations could be a pool of extra tickets say 25 that could be requested from BARC, or ,here's a thought, members could post and say if they have tickets they don't require.
