Okay, it might just be me that has this problem, I don't know...
Snail's Pace arrived this morning (Wed 13 Oct) could I please ask as to how I'm supposed to send my AGM list of pointers/agenda things in when it's already past the closing date by the time I receive the mag? Does this mean I need to wait until next years AGM ... but wait ... that's maybe not going to happen depending on whether or not the club survives!?! Argh!!
Where is the agenda hiding on the web site? Thought it was being posted on Monday am or have I just missed a link in my haste to stir things further?!
Please if possible could there be set dates by which the magazine could be issued by. So as pertinent info such as race dates, race results, meeting info or the like is in black and white on paper at least a week prior to deadlines such as entering proxy info, etc. For example; first issue one week after the first/second race listing race dates & venues plus the results for those and feedback from the dinner dance/prize giving, second issue after the 24hr with results for all the races up to that point with perhaps some coverage of incidents at the events other than the 24hr, third issue about two weeks before the proxy closing date for the AGM with blow-by-blow of the 24hr and then the fourth issue after all the races are finished and the AGM is passed, listing the years final standings and provisions/provisos for the coming season as sorted at the AGM. It's just a thought.
My second point that I would like discussed is - change the password!! It's not that hard!! This way only those who've paid their membership should be able to access the members only bit instead of anyone who's paid their membership at least once in the past 6 years! In theory any way!!

This may seem a bizarre request but my once freely obtainable internet access is to become rather severely curtailed and I'm sure I'm not the only person who will have or has limited web access. Although this is the 21st Century I still think the first method of communication of info should be via the club magazine.
