Does anybody know if anything was done about getting a big tent thing at Oulton so we could 'socialise' in it,for those who have forgotten this means drinking,general mucking about,smoking tabs,talking to other members,making salad cocktails,giving out driver of the day trophies and looking after kids may be. (and possibly keep out of the rain)
Is anybody bothered?
I know we/I had talked about it as I thought that it was decided that this was what was missing of recent years.
Anyone local want organise it or do we want to see if any cars turn up first?
I'm going if I can win.

well to be honest i only knock about with pete to make my self look handsome, in fact as my fine wife sez, to quote " have you done the washing up yet" sorry wrong one try this "i trust you 900% when you and spatlow are together, as no good looking bird will have a mate ugly or daft enough to go with him" what ever that means

What sort of tent is being pitched here? Mmm....

Don't know if I can make it down but I'd like a big tent. Although I've an aversion to smokers, purely because I'm jealous 'cos I'm no longer allowed... long story... getting boring...

So yes have a tent as long as I get a table near the door for fresh air it'll be fine!

we've got 2 gazebos (spell wrong but hey i'm a teacher). No sides but its a start.

I've got a big one,and it's got 3 sides.
I can bring it along and get it out too.
we can get them up side by side
Sounds like that might do the job.
we'll need some lights and a generator.Can anyone supply these.
Mick says he'll do the disco.
In keeping with present political fashion we'll make it no smoking and those that don't like it can get thier own tent.
Does that sound like a plan or what?   :shock:
