Title: logo design wanted (for Snetterton 24hr)
Post by: Trevor Williams on January 19, 2005, 22:22:17
I'm Always Asking For Volunteers!!!!

As all of you who have seen the quality of my paintwork on the race car should be aware, my art skills are almost as good as my engine building skills!!!!

So........ is there any one willing to volunteer to design a world-beating logo for the 24 Hour Race?

The sooner someone volunteers the sooner we con start marketing the race

Cheers

Trevor

Trev.
I know a bloke who knows a bloke called mike good and he has been drawing 2cv's for years in a cartoon type way.I would describe it as light hearted and probably in keeping with the club.
I will by all means pursue this if you would like me to.
Pete.
Title: Provisional logo

Hello,  there is a draft of a logo on www.2cv-racing.org.uk/ at the top of the page in the middle just under the heading "2CV 24 HOUR RACE SNETTERTON".  If this is appropriate it can be modified in any way.

Best Wishes from Dick Roberts
Title: 24hr sticker
Post by: Pete Sparrow on February 13, 2005, 10:46:16
Dick.
I'm waiting for a reply from Phil Myatt who was going to find out a cost making the stickers.
I think we decided that the sticker would be better done like the Belgian ones,ie,long and thin rather than round.
The go ahead has been give to get them sorted it's just the design and costs to finalise
Could you have a look and see if you can modify the design you've done to fit roughly into a 5" by 12" strip and let me know.
Thanks,Pete.
Title: 5x12 format logo
Post by: Dick Roberts on February 13, 2005, 14:51:33
Hello

I have posted a revised logo in the format 5x12 to the top of page http://2cv-racing.org.uk/2005/year/2005-05-29-snetterton.htm

It could have the club's web address added (as suggested by Pete Sparrow)
