As a member of the Snett marshalling crew who were in Tyrrell's on the Monday evening after the event I would just like to pass on our sincere appreciation of the spontaneous gesture in organising the collection for the marshals. Also for the bottle of bubbly that was passed across to our
table.
As stated at the time, due to the fact that we obviously had assistance from several visiting marshals over the weekend we have decided to donate the £160.00 that you collected to the Motorsport Safety Fund, making it clear to them that it was due to the kindness of all the 2CV 24hour competitors and personnel.
Thanks Pete, Paul and everyone involved in the 24hrs - we certainly enjoyed it - best one so far at Snett. Please come back next year!

Many thanks for your kind comments - yes I will pass these on via the Ten-Tenth's Marshals Forum on the Snetterton 24hrs thread and will post a copy in the signing on office at next weekends Aston Martin Owners Club & MG Car Club meeting, which should catch most of the Snett Marshals who were present at the 24hours.
