......be a member of the BARC to do the odd race?

Hi All,

I called them today (BARC) to ask and got through to voice mail - no one has got back to me yet and Cadwell is appoaching. I'm sure when I raced back in '98 you only had to be a member if you wanted to score championship points.

I will try them again when I get a chance but does anyone off the top of their head.

If you want to score championship points you have to be a member of BARC

Thanks for the reply Trev,

I take it from your reply you believe that you don't need to be a member of the BARC to race, but you will not score points.

I spoke to the BARC yesterday, but they told me that even if I'm not worried about championship pionts (I'm not - I'll give the others a chance this year!!) I still have to be a member - so £95. I'd like to have done Cadwell but can't afford another £100 (It would be on a credit card anyway).

Is this right?
