Title: b.a.r.c membership
Post by: marc sparrow on February 20, 2006, 21:43:58
hello all,
could anyone in the know please clear up a qustion that my brother or friends can't .
1 do you have to become a member of the barc if you are only going to compete in 3 races or less(24hrs being one of them)?

2 if you compete in only 3 races do you still have to pay a day membership to the barc on those race days?

ps)how does my wife get a race number alocated to her? does she have to join the race club.

pps) sorry if i coming over as a skinflint but rebuilding race cars ground up after every 3 races becomes expensive and now the wife wants to spoil all my fun and have ago to.

Hi Marc,

I don't think you can do a day membership of BARC (as far as I know); if you can, it'll probably only be for the 24hr and it'd probably cheaper to buy a year than 3 days.

Re 3; dunno, it just sort of happens.....

Marc
The "day membership" of BARC is only available prior to Snetterton. As we only have one race before then, you would have to pay the balance of the membership fee.
You might as well pay the full lot if you are going to do three races
Cheers
