Our entry for the race has been put in doubt.
Fellow racer & co-sponsor, Graham Hill, has confirmed that he definitely won't be driving this year because he'll be out of the country, so we're short of a paying driver.
Furthermore, I may have to go to Sydney on 27th May to complete an acquisition I'm working on at the moment.
I'm off on a business trip to Singapore, Sydney & Hong Kong for the next 3 weeks, so don't have the time before then to try to sell the seat/seats.
Could you put a posting up about this?
The drivers will be teamed up with former race winners Simpson & Woodward, the car is a re-chassised, re-engined, re-painted, re-suspended version of last years car (other than the seat , selts & fuel tank, there are no cross-overparts!).
Everything is organised for 2007, right down to the meal plan for the event.
Alternately, if someone wants to buy a freshly-prepared car, with 2 spare Paul Robertson built engines, a lorry-load of body & mechanical parts, spare wheels & tyres, a covered trailer, then point them in my direction!

On that note my car is available too. There will be the whole car for rent as our drivers are now going to do Spa instead.
Car comes with spares and a crew. Was running 10th last year till last lap when we ran out of fuel. (fuel gauge now fitted!!!) 6th the year before.

Marc, can you not persuade them to do Spa as well as rather than instead of? Or just not let the car out of the country.....
All comes down to money at the end of the day. At first they were wanting to change the car over to a full on spa car but managed to convince them it was not for the best.
Think if they had the money or even 2 hire drivers they would poss do snet. At the moment i dont think we are likely to get 2 hire drivers
Have you seen the regulations for the suitable class at Spa? I haven't yet, and don't know where to find them. I have last year's, but that doesn't include the "historiques". As ours are so similar to the Ameliorées, I presume they're very much the same save for refuelling (and possibly bodywork).
