Title: Uprated springs
Post by: Bart van Wijngaarden on March 12, 2008, 19:51:49
Hi racers,
I have a question, there is a discussion going on on the dutch 2cv forum regarding uprated springs. This is generally expressed in a percentage.

Is this a percentage on top of the standard stiffness, so for example 200% uprated springs are 3 times stiffer than original? or is this an 'overall' figure, so 200% uprated means 2 times as stiff as an original spring?

Thanks very much in advance! all the best, Bart

Excellent, I already thought so, but quite some people weren't so sure.

Thanks again, Regards, Bart
