Hi all
Latest news on the dates front is
Apr 3 Cadwell
May 16 Mallory
May 29/31 Oulton
July 3/4 Croft
Aug 28/29 Snetterton (24Hours)
It is very unlikely that these dates will be changed, but.....
Cheers
Philip
Snails Pace will say Anglesey instead of Croft, already gone to print unfortunately! Oh well..... ::)
No Silverstone then?
Is it on the list above?
Cheers Phil, bit northern-centric but some lovely circuits!
Just for info, BARC have one less club meeting at Silverstone than they did this year.
<bit northern-centric>
About time I got a short journey!
Trev, I've got some dates you can have if those ones are no good; they're over a year old but they don't really go off, do they?
Derek
If next year is anything like this year, what I need is three-day weekends and more than 24 hours in a day!
thanks Phil
I see that the Oulton Park races are over 3 days is that correct?

A rhetorical question Philip, in-line with Trevor's subsequent observation that the calendar is a bit 'northern-centric'. Not a criticism from a southern b*****d, the Club must race where it can, but just a regret that I probably won't be able to come out to play...
What is the format of the races ?
Sprint/Endurance 1 driver or more ?
Two 25 minute races, two drivers can share and share the points.

Passport not up to date frank?
Confiscated at a border post just south of Oulton, Paul, when I was turned back in a southern b*****d crackdown

EFA ;D
Eh?
It's what we northerners affectionately call those that aren't northern frank.
Oh yes, I remember now. One of the border guards used the term...
Hi all
We have just been informed that due to a move in the International GT Calendar our 24hr Race Meeting at Snetterton on Aug 28-29 has moved one week earlier to August 21-22.
Not news we had expected or wanted but unfortunately totally outside our control.
Philip
Cheers Philip
Does that mean the race is Saturday evening to Sunday evening?
Trevor
As it isn't a Bank Hol weekend I do hope so!!
bugger, ive just booked my holidays, and will have to check them again.
Bully, you've been doing this long enough to realise that you never book anything until the calendar is officially released by BARC??? ;D
Not sure what ian's "set in stone" meant trev.
I thought it was as said in quote by Paul, "set in stone"
20th 24hr race

The date is "set in stone" as august bank holiday weekend 27/28/29/30.The race running sunday through to monday.
I hope this gives everyone enough notice.
Cheers Bully
Debs at Snet told me that the circuit was only ever booked by BARC for Sat/Sun of the Bank hols w/e, with testing on Friday and the race running over Saturday night. They currently have a track day down for the Monday.
Is there now a list of definite dates for the 2010 season?
If there is it might be useful to post it on the main site as well as here.
Mary
There won't be until BARC publish the regs, which I am told by Nicola will probably be at the end of this month
Thanks Trevor.
The 2010 Regulations have been published on BARC's website this morning.
Everyone should be aware that the Oulton Races weekend is on the Saturday and Monday!!!! Whether or not we would be racing on both days or just one is something that we will have to wait and see when BARC publish the race timetable!!!!
Can someone give me the costs for entering the races on a race-byrace basis please
Cheers
Trevor
News just in.
Barc have agreed to run all the qualifying and racing at Oulton on the Monday instead of split between Sat/Mon.
Hope this helps your weekend planning.
Philip
is this "set in stone"?
It turns out that the answer was no. I've just spoken to Barc to be told that due to operational requirements (noise) at Oulton both our races will now be on the Saturday. Sorry, out of our hands.
Philip
is this set in stone? or quick sand
