Title: Can I or can't I
Post by: Simon Crook on September 18, 2015, 15:37:33
So over the winter we are planning to rebuild the shell on the 58 car (yes the mint green one) new rear panel, roll cage, probably new floors bit of rot removal (yes even this car has rot in it) so my question is: when I replace the floors can I put in a flat floor and square off the rear inner arches like one of the other cars running in the series or do I have to keep to the original layout?

5.6.2.2 Interior:           No part of the interior which is an integral part of the bodywork may be removed or modified.

;D tho cant see any advantage to fitting flat floors as long as the box sections remain.

More space for underbody rollcage and remote shock reservoirs maybe?

FLAT floors!!??
aerodynamic advantage I'd say.are they going to have the 12mm plank under them?
