Title: Croft
Post by: gadget on March 25, 2016, 09:43:16
Moving on to Croft.

Can anyone let us know how many drivers we need to take to Croft
Last year was a bit of a fiasco with some saying 2 , official bulletins being issued left right and centre wildly nilly
And some teams doing as they liked.
It would be nice to have official clarification before we just turn up with 2drivers like we did last year

For the enduro the rules say up to 4 drivers, page 9 and 10 (attached to this post).

Hope that helps,

Louis

Sooo....
For a single driver in a 2hr enduro there are no specified times in the race when you have to pit.

Three stops mandatory, but no specified time window in our regs for a 2hr.

Right folks, those who have entered, or are planning to enter for Croft  - please let me know who is doing what races, particularly the enduro!

Send me a PM here, a message on facebook, an email, a text, whatever :)

Hi Chris, Hollis Motorsport is correct as per the entry lists on the front page (so Richard will drive cars 70 and 71 in the enduro and will have to nominate which is his points scoring car, or scores points for the first car he drives if no nomination received)

As above - I believe they are sending out actual pre-printed tickets for this one. Could anyone confirm they've received them yet?

Please could someone advice. If we need to refuel in the 2hr races do from past experience, is it necessary?
are we required to use the same jugs that are used in the 24hr race? If so, does anyone have a spare one I could borrow?

San, I doubt if you will be allowed to refuel during the 2hr race, the cars should run for 2hrs without refuelling.

Chris, I am also still waiting for entry tickets. I'll be in the only one driving for the weekend.

Cheers Glenn.

No tickets, no garages, last race on Sunday.
It's not just any racing club, it's a BARC racing club!

There is no refuelling permitted in the 2hr race, and there are no fuel facilities at the circuit, so make sure you all bring some Tuff-jugs or jerry cans filled with fuel! (But you don't need a Tuff-jug to refuel if you don't have one)
