I am a little disappointed to hear of the allegations of cheating that are currently swirling around the club.
Lets look at the times from Donington last week and compare them to 2003 (the last time we raced there. The weather reports are very similar for both years

I think the cheating rumours are understandable and are probably attributable to the cam change. Changing the technical envelope opens up all sorts of areas for renewed investigation. Once the obvious areas have been tried then the more inventive, richer, more thoughtful people (take your pick!) will review what was accepted knowledge and see if they can get an advantage. It is the joy and curse of motorsport and unless the club wants to go to a sealed engine formula with someone like Paul making a batch of 30 engines with mandatory carb settings etc. during the winter then it will be always the same.
Sadly I can't do Lydden due to a major shortage of funds but I'll see you all at Silverstone I hope.
