Hey guys/girls

Do you think as a club we should be holding a stand at this historic meeting? Maybe we can do a joint stand with 2cvgb?

Surely we should be pitching for the Sparrow to course in record time?

After all, as you say we are a classic car racing club.

Lets get a couple of things straight before talking about organising non-championship races.
If we are not seen to be growing and thriving as a race series, we lose our championship status.Last year we only just made the minimum number of entries to keep the championship going
For the last couple of years people have been whinging that we have been doing too many races.
The race calendar this year is seen to be the optimum and was voted for at the AGM
WE WILL NOT BE ORGANISING ANY ADDITIONAL RACES THIS YEAR, EITHER IN GB OR THE CONTINENT.
Please concentrate on the Championship events

Is doing something like goodwood not a good way of advertising the championship? Something like Goodwood recieves so much coverage. I do understand where you are coming from though.

You don't just "decide to do" Goodwood, you have to be invited by the Earl of March. It's not going to happen.
