Title: Championship Decider
Post by: Gary Adnitt on August 20, 2006, 20:50:12
Right then, come on, who's up for Mallory?

This race tipically comes down to a bun fight on the last lap for at least the first six cars, is great for spectators and isn't a million miles away from everyone being in Leicestershire (apologies Scottish friends, everywhere is a long way this year, not you Christian!).

Come on, come on, it's the last round, we need a good turn out to keep our average grid up with BARC, the racing has been great so far this year and the paddock atmosphere like the old day's (pre me?) lets finish the season on a high.

The Championship isn't even decided, when was last time that happened going into the last round???

To all you novices/infrequent runners, if you need help or advice pre-Mallory or even at the track to get your car on the grid IT WILL BE PROVIDED, I and others are more than willing to help/support you, just ask, call me on 07990 987015 at a reasonable hour and I'll do my best.

New child permitting I'll be there with the goal of starting and finishing without changing engines, gearboxes, tyres or panels.  It's a long shot I know, but I love a challenge.

According to BARC, we have 24 entries for Mallory this weekend!!!!

If any spectators who are going have access to video cameras, please take them along and video the race, it should be exciting!!!

You do realise that Mallory is the fastest circuit that we do, with an average lap speed approaching 70mph!!!!

See you all there on Saturday evening

Ben's 24 hour technical team hope to be there.  We're called the 24 hour team because that's how long it takes us to do anything remotely technical.

Has anyone got a pair of Mallory tickets going begging?

Oooh that's a point. How much is it to get into the circuit? Arriving Sat eve/night and not being with a race team ( :( anyone want to adopt me? Ok, pushing my luck) will I even be allowed in?

Actually David, you're called the 24 Hour technical team because you needed to fix the 24 things we broke an hour.

I've got a couple of tickets for you but no car pass.  I'm arriving at horrible o'clock on Sunday morning.

Thank you for that, Ben. To avoid too much damage to our respective domestic bliss we won't be overnighting. We'll be there Sunday am so I'll give you a ring when we arrive.
